Technology has provided our youth with modern gadgets. They are enjoying of handy mode of communication, fastest means of transportation. They live in luxuries. They have freedom. The television serves them in many ways. It relaxs them, entertains them and amuses them. Mobilephone is a handytool in their hands. But in spite of these modern facilities, the new generation is a worried lot.
The fast pace of life has made their life complicated. The malls and markets have created unlimited desire in them. But their sources are limited. They get frustated, disappointed. Priorities have changed, luxuries have become necessities.
Relationships, love, family values and culture have taken back seat. Jobs at call centres, night shift duties, professional changes have brought sleep disorders. They are busy in achieving more and more to maintain a good life style.
Materialism and western culture have superseded all Indian values. Mobilephones in hand, cigarette in mouth, glasses on eyes, bike underneath they are rushing and flying but to nowhere as they have no definite aim, destination of life. It seems they are fed of the world and flying away from it. They have no content, no peace, no patience. This is why our new generation is a worried lots.
